Marta is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about northwest of Rome and about northwest of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,503 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 Marta borders the following municipalities: Capodimonte, Montefiascone, Tuscania, Viterbo.
